Jaden Smith x Mr. Carmack - Freestyle ('15)

So last night Soulection continued to dominate all things music with their weekly Beats 1 radio show on Apple Music and it was lit. Soulection kingpin Joe Kay hosted the show dropping new Sango and bringing the wonder kid Jaden Smith to freestyle over an old Mr. Carmack beat “1994“. The track is slow and steady, hard hitting and wise beyond Jaden’s mere 17 years. The kid has major flow and spit lyrically conscious fire over this chilled Mr. Carmack beat. The young rap prodigy showed off his natural flow when he dropped on “Beast Mode” with Ta-Ku back in February. Earlier this week Mr. Carmack graced us with his phenomenal Red EP and hopefully this freestyle will drop on one of the 2 EPs expected to come from the 25 year-old mastermind later this year. If one thing’s for sure, if Joe Kay and yun Jaden’s friendship continues to blossom, that duo could take over the world. Pray to the Soulection gods that Jaden will follow this up with more collaborations with the LA based label.
