London-based Indian music producer, composer, and mixing/mastering engineer Priyank Shah has officially released his 8-track concept album, KSHATRA.

Breaking conventional boundaries, Shah’s signature sound blends immersive EDM and dance-pop with the profound emotional textures of Indian classical instrumentation. Designed as an audio-visual narrative, KSHATRA introduces a unique listening experience, diving into narratives that reflect a deeply personal period of spiritual reflection, long UK winter nights and lucid, vivid dreams. 

The result feels immersive and cinematic, blurring the lines between reality and imagination. 

The album’s rich sound identity features a sitar exploring complex human emotions through the lens of Nava Rasa, a space-evoking santoor, ambient guitars, and organic environmental field textures recorded straight from Priyank’s own backyard.

On KSHATRA, each track maps a different psychological or spiritual state within a larger narrative arc. While “Demons” marks the album’s darkest entry point, symbolising intrusive thought loops and internal mental conflict, the track “Sartaj” introduces an awakening of spiritual awareness and clarity. “Shree Ram” taps into the neurological experience of frisson to evoke deep spiritual resonance before the entire journey resolves beautifully into “Surrender,” an emotional exhale of ultimate peace and acceptance.
