The Chainsmokers have been gearing up for their third studio album all year long by releasing monthly singles. Including their previous collaborations with Illenium and Lennon Stella, Bebe Rexha, Ty Dolla $ign and Bülow, and 5 Seconds Of Summer, World War Joy has finally arrived in full. Finished off with four shiny new tracks, World War Joy hosts The Chainsmokers’ anticipated collaborations with Blink-182 and Kygo. Across the ten-track album, The Chainsmokers further define themselves as the kings of dance-pop music. From “P.S. I Hope You’re Happy,” which sounds like an electronic reprise of Blink-182’s hit single “I Miss You,” to “Family” with Kygo, The Chainsmokers incorporated a variety of influences like rock, house, and indie to craft a star-studded, well-rounded project.
