Shambhala Music Festival‘s six independently run stages have finally released their 2019 lineups in full. Piece by piece, we’ve been getting a taste of what each stage has to offer. Now it’s all out for the gawking, and we couldn’t be more excited. This year’s lineup is a dream come true with a metric ton of amazing artists, massive headliners, and label showcases. We have a few highlights from each stage that we’re particularly excited for, but there are just too many to mention. Take a peek at the full roster and join us for the arresting amazement that is Shambhala 2019.
The Village
Shambhala’s jungle oasis for dubstep and drum and bass is getting a mercilessly hard and heavy dose of bass for 2019. We already mentioned that Excision is making a grand return to Shambhala 2019, but we can’t overstate how awesome this is, so it deserves another mention. We’re also getting the savory sounds of dubstep legend Rusko, bass house champion Jauz, a DJ set from superstars Nero, and of course, the highly-anticipated staple set of the stage’s manager himself Subvert. As if this isn’t enough, The Village has two label takeovers: Wakaan featuring Liquid Stranger, Champagne Drip, and G-REX; and Jungle Cakes bringing the DnB with Benny Page, Deekline, Ed Solo, and General Levy.
Fractal Forest
The Fractal Forest, Shambhala’s closely guarded secret for everything on the groovy spectrum of funk and bass, has an absolutely jam-packed lineup. Fractal Forest is particularly excited to announce Silk City, the disco house project between Diplo and Mark Ronson. This year we’ve also got show-stopping headliners like GRiZ, SNBRN, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Goldfish, and Cazztek. Westwood Recordings is also staging a Fractal Forest takeover with the funky fresh likes of K+Lab, Defunk, The Funk Hunters, Stickybuds (returning for his 15th year), as well as Krafty Kuts, Chali 2na, A.Skillz and more!
The Living Room
This beautiful riverside stage always brings some of the best in ambient, psy, downtempo, and all-around good vibes. 2019 is getting sweet beats from Adam Shaikh, Shambhala resident Mat the Alien, electro-folk duo Moontricks, Danish tech-house artist Be Svendsen, groovy daytime disco with Poolside, babymakin’ music with Pleasensations (otherwise known as Neon Steve), and so many more amazing acts.
The AMPhitheater
Shambhala’s stop for deep dub, trap, hip hop and filthy bass is delivering a hefty earful of grime. Headliners like Troyboi, Mija, 1000Volts, Alix Perez, A Tribe Called Red, and Minnesota are saturating The AMP’s airwaves from the hi to the lo. A label showcase from Deep, Dark and Dangerous is featuring Truth, Khiva, Abstrakt Sonance, and Distinct Motive. More highlights include Chuurch, The Librarian, Mersiv, and Pigeon Hole. Please check out the lineup for yourself; there are just too many dope artists to mention.
The Grove
The Grove is featuring an eclectic amalgamation of styles including hip hop, downtempo, deep dub, psybass, and pretty much everything one could want at a single stage. This year The Grove is featuring Bonobo, Ivy Lab, Earthgang, (((O))), Goopsteppa, Tor, Andre Power, AtYyA, and so, so many more. Cosmic Bridge is also taking The Grove to another dimension with a label showcase featuring DJ Madd, Om Unit, Danny Scrilla, and Moresounds.
The Pagoda
Naturally, The Pagoda is featuring the best in house music and beyond. They’re particularly excited to announce the booking of mysterious new artist Deathpact, who’s making his world debut at Shambhala 2019. This year is also bringing house music stars like Anna Lunoe, Justin Martin, Dr. Fresch, and Nightbass champion AC Slater. We’re also getting some bass favorites like Charlesthefirst, Grandtheft, and Boogie T, as well as trance legend Paul Oakenfold!
