Sam Gellaitry has achieved an impressive sonic identity over the years and his experimental future bass sound has uniquely set him aside from his peers. The Scottish producer quickly rose in 2015 as one of SoundCloud’s most creative offerings, garnering attention for his intricate Escapism EP series. Over the past year, he’s dropped some gems here and there, but fans haven’t seen an official release by the talent since his mid-2017 Escapism III EP. Ending his hiatus, Sam Gellaitry has shared his latest compilation titled Viewfinder, Vol 1: PHOSPHENE. Spanning twelve tracks with no features, PHOSPHENE was definitely worth the wait. Sam Gelliatry delivers some of his most experimental and complex works to date that culminates in a cinematic and forward-thinking effort.
