MAX is quickly rising to the pop stardom. Following his chart-topping ballad “Lights Down Low”, MAX skyrocketed to the forefront of modern pop music with his heart-melting debut album Hell’s Kitchen Angel. Over the past year, MAX has gained even more notoriety with collaborations alongside electronic giants like Galantis, Louis The Child, Whethan, Sweater Beats, and Matoma and within his own future funk duo Party Pupils. Continuing to storm the world of pop with his lustful lyrics, MAX has enlisted the help of Louis The Child and Imad Royal to co-write and produce his latest single “Worship”. Dedicated to his wife, “Worship” will instantly make you swoon with its love-soaked lyrics, flirty futuristic production, and MAX’s sultry R&B performance. If that wasn’t enough, the “Worship” video features MAX whimsically dancing alongside Crystal The Monkey, known for her appearances in The Hangover or Night at the Museum. “Worship” follows MAX’s hometown homage “Still New York” which featured Joey Bada$$ and is the second single off his upcoming sophomore album House of Divine, due out next year. Catch MAX on his headlining House of Divine tour this fall and stream “Worship” below.
I wrote this song about my amazing wife. We travel so much and are apart from each other so often that every moment is sacred. We have to stop and really look at each other to take in the love. I’m also absolutely obsessed with monkeys and have always wanted to make a full video with a monkey. So I cast Crystal to play Emily in this video. – MAX
