The Weeknd

The Weeknd looks to capitalize on what has been a great year for him. Coming off a flawless Coachella performance and putting out on of this years best r&b albums, the superstar will be setting the mood on Day 1 as he sends us home in our feelings.

ODESZA

Having seen the duo a couple of times, ODESZA never ceases to amaze. Their live show is one of the best you’ll ever get to experience. The mind-blowing attention to detail with the visuals, pyro, and even on stage antics will leave you in awe for the rest of the weekend.

Jamie XX

Jamie XX will be blessing us with his talents in a rare visit to the Bay Area. The aftermath of his incredible album “In Colour” will never fall short. His solo project left quite the impression as we can only anticipate venturing through a musical journey with his performance.

Illenium

Illenium is one of the hottest names in dance music. Consistently tearing up with fiery singles after his sophomore album “Awake,” hs anthemic sound shall see the crowd release a plethora of emotions. Although we won’t be treated to his “Awake” live show, his festival sets will create more than just a pretty Instagram story.

Daniel Caesar

R&B advocates fell in love with Daniel Caesar after the release of “Freudian.” His one-of-a-kind talent will set us up for a sensual performance. Allowing us to be in the presence of his impeccable vocal prowess, this one’s for the lovebirds and broken-hearted.

Rex Orange County

Making his debut in San Francisco, the young Rex Orange County will be treating us to his uplifting and relatable style of neo-soul and indie pop. Contrary to his name, he actually hails from the UK. Rejuvenating the use of classical instruments in most of his ballads, this is my pick to be one of the more fun sets you’ll see at the festival.

ELOHIM

ELOHIM has transformed into a unicorn of a pop star. Creating electrifying records that bend the rules within electronic music and pop, she put us all on notice at Coachella that she is more than just a vocalist. Carrying a great stage presence, this wildcard is a must-see at Outside Lands this year.

Sabrina Claudio

Sabrina Claudio is one of the many queens that are currently running R&B. She blew up quick, and for very good reasons related to music. Her tracks just inject you with soul. Possessing such raw talent, this young star makes it irresistible to ignore her bedroom music.
