RL Grime’s trap classic “Core” turns 4 today. For two years after it’s release, it was a song you could expect to hear in everyone’s set. Even Flume decided to make a slight edit of the song that he still plays from time to time. While it’s not played as much as it used to be, you can still hear this single being dropped consistently to this day.
RL Grime forever changed the electronic music landscape when he dropped Core. It’s colorful and inventive nature took the scene by storm. With the catchy line “Who do the shit that I do?” and booming 808s it’s easy to see why the song was so successful. Celebrate it’s birthday below by giving the official video a watch.
