Ekali Awakens Us From Our Oversaturated EDM Slumber With His Fourth Mix Installment

Are you woke? Ekali, trap’s resident dark moody bass weaver, has the answer you’ve been looking for. After much anticipation, our ear drums are blessed once more with the fourth installment of his “Awakening” mix series. Right out the gate we are gripped by heavy bass bombs full of oscillating saw waves and wonky synths riddled with some of your favorite vocal samples. Ekali’s skill of being able to layer the right songs in the right way cannot be understated; including my personal favorite mashup of Porter Robinson’s famous “Language” with the sultry voice of Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart” lofting above it. Brilliance, I tell you! Fret not though, this isn’t just the future bass / trap mix one may initially expect. “Awakening Mix. 4” is littered with wobbly bass lines any headbanger would surely approve of; finally concluding with some dance happy house tunes. All in all, this new mix is sure to be on everyones repeat rotation for the coming months, if not remainder of the year. We are all fervently waiting to see what else the wave maker known as Ekali has in store for us for the rest of 2018.
