Spring Awakening Music Festival has taken the crown of Chicago’s premiere electronic music festival and in 2018 they are going to remind you why.
In its first wave of artists, we can find a huge who’s who in dance music today to once again prove why Chicago is the place to be this Summer. World-famous stars like Tiesto, Kaskade and Afrojack sit atop the lineup only to be joined by heavy-hitting bass favorites like Borgore, NGHTMRE, and Flux Pavilion. And that’s only 6 artists from this stacked phase one.
Other notables include Porter Robinson‘s new alias, Virtual Self, and Alison Wonderland who hasn’t performed in Chicago since Lollapalooza 2017.
Along with this incredible first set of artists, SAMF has announced 6 of their branded stages. When you see the lineups for these, it’s clear that each stage’s lineup has a distinct feeling and tone. The Trance Arena and Bass Kitchen will be making their return in 2018, being joined by The Requiem – for SAMF techno lovers. Oliver Helden’s Heldeep Records will be hosting a stage along with DJ Mag. Sunday School is the final stage which will be made up of a slew of underground and marquee names.
Spring Awakening Music Festival will once again be calling Adams-Medill Park home. See you there June 8-10.
