Excision, Pretty Lights, Post Malone to Headline Snowta Music Festival

Midwesterners rejoice! Another New year’s festival is on the horizon. In just its second year, Snowta proves to everyone that Minnesota could possibly be the place to be this New Year’s Eve.

Snowta, which is just in its sophomore year was born from a simple idea. I reached out to Zack Chazin, head talent buyer of Snowta to describe to me the inspiration behind the Minneapolis music festival, “The past decade electronic and hip-hop have been THRIVING in Minneapolis on parallel paths. Our vision was always to try and bridge this gap and bring these two communities together under one roof.”

And that’s exactly what it does.

Atop the lineup is Excision, Pretty Lights, Gucci Mane and Post Malone. That’s a heavy-hitting top four. They’ll be joined by the likes of JOYRYDE, Mija, Bear Grillz and the masters of wobbles – Ganja White Knight. It might be cold outside – but Snowta is going to be HOT.

Music is only part of the attraction of the festival though, Chazin promises so much more – “Excisions paradox crew is curating the visual element for both days of the festival. Coupled with Pretty Lights production, alien laser tag, human bowling, skate park, snowboarding rail jam + a few more surprises we have up our sleeve. Snowta will be (in my opinion) the most creative NYE festival in the country.”
