One of the EDM world’s greatest mysteries of who exactly is Marshmello has finally been put to bed. Revealed via ‘the richest DJ’s of 2017’ feature in Forbes, the piece had a screenshot from the ASCAP database that Chris Comstock was listed as the writer of Marshmello’s latest song ‘Silence’ featuring singer Khalid. Now we all know Chris Comstock as the man behind Dotcom, but this adds to his long list of musical achievements.
It looks like, given the scope and fame of Comstock’s persona Marshmello it has just become too hard for his team to keep his identity a secret. We can only hope this doesn’t take away from the love Marshmello receives as his music is on another level, and this most certainly does NOT mean that Marshmello is over at all.
