As a follow up to his last single “Slide” with Migos & Frank Ocean, Calvin Harris just dropped another serious heater (pun intended). He’s recruited Pharrell Williams, Young Thug and Ariana Grande for his follow up single “Heatstroke”.

A smooth and sensual song that is nothing but good ol’ organic funky vibes. I feel like I’m transported to a 70’s cocktail bar on the beach sipping on drinks with little umbrellas in them, waiting to be approached by Veronica Corningstone at any second.

You’ve gotta give it up to Calvin Harris, he’s literally changing the game one song at a time (and honestly always has). Making the transition from dance-focused radio hits to this funky-vibey-babymaking music isn’t something just anyone can pull off. I love this new direction and can’t wait for the album.
