It’s been a few weeks since Cavalier’s last release – well he broke the silence today with ‘Universe.’
On the spectrum of electronic music – ‘Universe’ rests much more on the side of a beat than a banger. It sounds organic- but chopped up enough for you to say “Oh, my” – reminiscent of something you might hear from composer/producer/all around cool guy – Flying Lotus. It’s an almost 8 minute long piece – aptly named ‘Universe’ because he takes us on a journey through out something that feels much bigger than a song.
Hey Cavalier – don’t take as long on the next one, okay?
