An OVO Group Album Exists & Might Drop This Year

With iLoveMakonnen’s upcoming project, Drink More Water 6, arriving next week, the Atlanta singer/rapper double threat has been in full promotion mode. HuffPostLive recently sat down with Makonnen to touch on a number of topics including fitness, inspiration, and more. The juiciest part of the interview occurs when Makonnen confirms that an OVO Sound group album exists.

According to Makonnen, Drake’s label, OVO Sound, recorded a group album that could drop in October (naturally). An OVO Sound album would be a big deal for Drake’s rising label, which is home to the likes of Majid Jordan, dvsn, Makonnen, and more. No doubt, the album would be the love-making album of the century.

Following the hypothesized release of the OVO group album, Makonnen will release his own album this fall or winter featuring a high percentage of his own production. Makonnen’s Drink More Water 6 drops next week on March 18. Peep Makonnen’s full interview with HuffPostLive below.
