Skrillex has taken over EDM, pop, and rap music in the past year and he’s showing no signs of stopping. From his Grammy nominated collaborative Jack Ü project with Diplo to his wondrous pop production for Justin Bieber and his trap/rap anthems “No Chill” with Vic Mensa and “El Chapo” with The Game, Skrillex has conquered it all in 2015. In a recent interview with Billboard, A$AP Ferg dropped news of a future collaboration with the EDM god himself.
“I got a crazy joint with Skrillex, this “New Levels” we’re gonna use to break the walls down for this new beginning, this new Trap Lord. I’m entering the Hood Pope now. I was the Trap Lord two years ago, I became the Hood Pope on y’all.”
The two are no strangers to each other, as A$AP Ferg served as a support act for Skrillex’s 2014 fall tour. The future of Skrillex lies with Ferg. Praise A$AP. Peep Skrillex’s previous A$AP Mob collaboration below.
