Sure… bright, lush, whimsical sounds have been in the spotlight as of late but for those of us looking for something a little darker, a little deeper… you need not look any farther than Woolymammoth‘s latest EP on Buygore Records entitled tricks. The young San Fransisco-based producer really goes in on this one with each track featuring a new filthy tone for listeners to get down to. While all the tracks are enjoyable, I find myself most drawn to the greasy bass and drum-work of goom.
