If you’ve watched any TV in the last couple of months then you no doubt have seen The American Legacy Foundation’s newest ‘Truth’ anti-smoking campaign. The commercials are all based around the theme “It’s A Trap” and features internet memes…and trap music. The commercials are being used to encourage young adults that smoking cigarettes whether it be on the weekends, or only when you’re with friends or only if you smoke a hookah..is still smoking.
“Our new ad uses pop-culture memes to make the point that no matter what type of tobacco and no matter the frequency, smoking is smoking, and it comes with serious and life-limiting health consequences.” -Robin Koval , American Legacy Foundation
After tapping into Zeds Dead and LOUDPVCK’s ‘Flies’ in a recent commercial, it seems that the organization is now branching out to other trap artists to further the “It’s a Trap” campaign. NGHTMRE recently announced via social media that he will be teaming up with The Truth Campaign and had this to say –
“I don’t always get personal with you guys, but I’ve had multiple relatives pass away from lung cancer due to smoking cigarettes so this is something I really support. I’m writing a new tune for the truth “It’s a Trap” campaign and we need your help with the lyrics! Comment with the most ridiculous smoking excuse you’ve heard and it could be used as a lyric for my track!” -NGHTMRE
What do you think of the campaign? Will it make a dent at all?

Thought I was going to read something meaningful; ended up being asked for free lyrics.
Rezaul Hasan Raju says
I have quit smoking for about several weeks now. I am just relying on will power alone. To me, the key is a strong motivation, which is strong enough to actually convince you that you will die if you ever smoke again.
My motivation is that I have contracted a type of lung disease, so that if I ever smoke again, I am actually risking my life. No, it's not lung cancer nor pneumonia, but dangerous enough that I actually can die of my disease if I screw up my medication or smoke again.
So if I crave for cigarette, I just remember my disease then the craving would be gone by itself.you can check this link for more information http://bit.ly/1kqV6dE
