GRiZ just took took to the internet to surprise all of his funk-loving fans with a surprise NINE track EP as a thank you for making his first Red Rocks headlining show a sold out show.

Chasing The Golden Hour Pt. 1 kicks it back to the old school and is jam-packed with gritty samples and organic sounds that really epitomize the ‘electro-soul’ movement that artists like Pretty Lights have helped bring to the spotlight. GRiZ’s saxophone leads are absolutely to die for – especially in “Sometimes The Truth Don’t Rhyme.”

I wanted to recreate the carefree good vibes you feel when it’s just about sunset on the perfect summer evening and everything is the most beautiful shimmering tint of gold.
