NGHTMRE started off his Summer with a bang and has not even tried to slow down…not that any of us are complaining. In May he dropped his collaborative EP, Nuclear Bonds, with Slander. June marked his EDC Las Vegas debut, July he finally dropped what some might call the trap tune of the summer with “Street” and then kicked off a huge headlining tour spanning 20+ cities.
It’s an honor to be able to premiere NGHTMRE’s newest Summer release – a thumping remix of Keys n Krates‘ “Dum Dee Dum.” NGHTMRE breathes his own unique life into the track, while paying homage to Keys n Krates original release. The remix kicks off with a new intro, the familiar “Dum-Dum” looming in the background. Before we long we are introduced to the Notorious B.I.G.’s familiar voice “Quarter past fo’, left the club tipsy.” What comes next is NGHTMRE’s unique percussion arrangement while looping in more “Dum-Dee-Dums.” Just wait for the double time high-hats.
It’s hard to tell what’s next for this young producer – but as of right now it seems there is no stopping him.
