While Shambhala Music Festival announced their headliners almost 2 weeks ago, today they began the process of announcing each individual stage lineup. The first stage to get it’s lineup announced is the always bass heavy Village stage. This year’s stage is going to feature heavyweights Skrillex, Excision, Datsik, Camo & Krooked and Big Gigantic while Koan Sound, Stylust Beats, Haywyre, ETC!ETC! and more will join them.
Next up we have the Fractal Forest aka the funkiest show on Earth. Their is a reason you have to have a special photography pass to take pictures here. This is one of the most prized possessions and is truly something you have to experience first hand to see how magical it is. This year artists like Jauz, Jillionair, Amtrac, Mix Master Mike and Jazzy Jeff are all hitting the stage this year. This year, Friday is Fractal Family nigh, Saturday is Legends night and Sunday is Bass night. Get ready for a good time.
Thirdly we have everyone’s favorite hang out during the day, The Living Room. Situated next to the river, this is a fantastic place to go and relax during the day while getting served some dope beats. At night things get taken to another level with artists like Coyote Kisses, Tiger Fresh and others bringing the heat.
The fourth stage that is getting it’s lineup announced was The Amphitheater. This is the stage where you will find me posted up for most nights. With Artists like Mr. Carmack, Ganz, G Jones, Bleep Bloop, M!NT, CRNKN, and tons of other forward thinking artists, what’s not to like?
Last but definitely not least is Shambhala’s ‘main’ stage The Pagoda. Big names like Pretty Lights, Kygo, Griz, Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin and more will be making this stage bounce this year. There is also a surprise ‘mystery’ headliner that hasn’t been named yet. The obvious answer here is that it is Bassnectar who has played this festival for 12 years now. We won’t know until Shambs announces it and until then we just have to wait. Is it August yet???
