In the battle between beats and bangers, ’48 HRS’ rests comfortably on the ‘beat’ side of the argument, but that’s not to say it can’t last as a standalone song.
’48 HRS’ is the perfect kind of complicated. Each listen-through will have you discovering another sonic layer that Lipp and DJ Fresh combine into this beautiful flute-filled hip hop oriented heater. The song has an almost natural progression to it, and each rhythm change as the song keeps playing makes perfect sense.
