What do you get when you combine Sam Smith‘s smooth, church going voice with A$AP Rocky’s methodical, beat-by-beat rhymes and lyricism? One gorgeous song, reminiscent of the James Blake x Chance The Rapper collaboration from last year.

 

The acoustic instruments lead you into the song slowly as you’re greeted by A$AP Rocky’s familiar voice before Sam Smith takes over and we hear the familiar piano that made the original song a huge success. The addition of A$AP does not take away the original feel of the song, but rather add to it. It’s weird to hear a toned down A$AP, but it comes out perfectly and it sounds like a match made in heaven. The song will be on sale tonight at midnight over at iTunes.
