Dillon Francis may be having the biggest year of his promising career yet, and it doesn’t seem to be cooling down whatsoever. With his upcoming studio album Money Sucks, Friends Rule expected to make a huge splash this summer, along with a packed schedule on Skrillex‘s Mothership Tour, DJ Rich as Fuck is definitely on his A game. Now, as if the hype couldn’t get any higher, Dillon Francis is joining the elite as he has officially signed his first deal with powerhouse Columbia Records. Further bringing dance music to the global main stage, the Mad Decent mayhem maker is now labelmates everyone from Beyonce to David Bowie.

Interestingly, the cat master was confronted by Twitter comments cheaply labeling the career milestone as a “sell out.” But as only Dillon Francis could, he welcomed the pompous internet banter and stuck it to the man. He assured fans that he would stay true to his home label and continue producing as a member of the Mad Decent roster, too.
