Over the last few weeks, Gary Richards’ Los Angeles-based party imprint HARD, has been slowly trickling out the earliest details of what should be one of this festival season’s most diverse, genre-blending lineups. Slowly tantalizing eager fans with sporadic additions to the massive two-day roster on the festival’s website, HARD Summer has already announced a handful of exciting talent expected to deliver a variety of sounds at this year’s event. Mad Decent royalty DJ Snake, along with Norwegian innovator Cashmere Cat have already established their spots on one of the summer’s most anticipated lineups. Other early announcements include Dirty Bird associate Shiba San, future bounce up-and-comer Wave Racer, and OWSLA-championed UK duo Jack Beats. However now, the slew of acts on this year’s full bill is finally reaching the wire.
HARD Summer’s lineup is bringing some of dance music’s most elite producers to headline this year’s installment of the two-day summer shakedown. Mainstage mayhem by Skrillex and Diplo‘s Jack U collective will certainly make for one of the year’s most out of bounds festival experiences, along with headlining performances by Dillon Francis, Disclosure, Nero and more. ASAP Mob, Baauer, Bro Safari, and Aussie duo What So Not are all also expected to deliver crowd commanding performances.
Incorporating sounds from all across the spectrum, HARD is delivering sounds for every type of taste. HARD is known for delivering some of the most wide ranging lineups on the festival circuit and the 2014 lineup might be the best HARD Summer bill yet. Hardwired with everything from trap to disco, hip-hop to deep house, and everything in between, HARD continues to up the ante each year. From veteran showcases by A-Trak and Brodinski to up-and-coming talents like Trippy Turtle and Milo and Otis, this year’s annual summer festival will prove to be some of the wildest days of the summer season.
