2013 was a big year for both Run The Trap and Trap Music, 100BPM Twerk Music, club music and related genres as a whole. We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite artists that killed it on all fronts this year. Note that none of these artists started first making music in 2013, rather they had a big year and were able to gain a significant amount of traction (and our attention) in 2013.
The list in in alphabetical order. Be sure to comment below and let us know who your breakout artists are if we missed anyone that you think should be included! There’s a ton of amazing talent out there that we might have not included in this post, but I think we do a good job of hitting some of the best. Also don’t forget to check out our Top Lovetrap tracks in 2013, Best Free Releases in 2013, 10 tracks on repeat in 2013, and Top 25 Trap Music Tracks of 2013 lists if you haven’t already.
Here’s to another great year in 2014! RUN THE TRAP!
