Dillon Francis Drops ‘Without You’ Remix Collection [Stream]

Troll master of the internet and comic relief of the dance music world, Dillon Francis is anything but a joke when it comes to his productions. In the everlasting search for his absent father, Dillon’s life is hilariously chronicled on the internet daily; but between goofy Vine videos, and managing his DJ Hazel alter ego, Dillon Francis still manages to find the time to drop some of the most party-primed tunes out there. His standout single this year, “Without You” featuring Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, falls well outside the trap music realm, but delivers positive vibes and a thumping dance selection anyone can get down to.

Today, Dillon Francis is truly taking us “one deeper”. Seven, in fact. Released on Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint, the “Without You” remix package is officially available today. Offering 7 remixes in total, each spin released on the collection takes a completely unique angle on the addictive dance tune. Flux Pavilion and Doctor P douse the track in their signature, unmatched heavy bass, incorporating dubstep elements into the song. Their remix comes through like a freight train of deep, dark grumbles and kicks with huge waves of bass layered throughout. Twin-turbo, Toronto based producers Torro Torro are also featured on the release with their gritty, groovy take on “Without You.” Chopping up the vocal samples, and weaving in a hard-knocking, energetic thump, Torro Torro’s remix incorporates the most trap music elements, and definitely stands out on this remix collection. The Cat Master himself also takes on the remix challenge, as Dillon offers up his own “Without You” remix, appropriately dubbed The Rebirth. The Dillon Francis Rebirth keeps all of the dance elements of the original mix, however it turns a minimal, soft dance selection into a bumping club track, perfect for any dance floor.
