Hawaiian product, Jacuzzi, bursted on to the scene a couple months back with his remix of Santigold’s ‘Disparate Youth’ and now he lets loose his debut EP, ‘Mizu.’ Featuring 5 bangers, this EP definitely does not disappoint. The first song, Exodus, gives us a sweet melodic intro only to take a turn for the turnt. While their is noticeable influence from fellow Hawaiian Mr. Carmack, Jacuzzi manages to create his own sound using a variety of drums, percussion instruments and synths. Some of the songs remind me of more melodic versions of songs from RL Grime’s High Beams EP. Give Jacuzzi’s Mizu [EP] a listen below and be sure to grab a free download as well!
