The Compton Menace Kendrick Lamar is at it again, not letting the heat from his very controversial verse on “Control“ die down. Kendrick spit a 4 minute cypher for the B.E.T. Awards which some speculate is dissing Drake, calling Drizzy “sensitive.”
Although no confirmation has been made if they were shots directed at Drake, the bars speak for themselves. Kendrick says:
“Nothing’s been the same since they dropped ‘Control’ / And tucked the sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes / Ha-ha, jokes on you / High-five, I’m bullet proof / Your shits will never penetrate / Pin the tail on the donkey, boy, you’ve been a fake.”

Some say the first line is a jab at Drakes new album “Nothing Was The Same”. Some speculate that the shots fired were directed towards Papoose after he freestyled over “Control” and told Kendrick, “You’ll never be a real west coast artist like Eazy-E / You a fucking joke, we laughing at you like he he he / Strip him to his socks, I bet he got a pussy / My bullets hit him dead in his cootie, come out his booty,” which would make sense of Kendricks laugh, as well as the ‘bulletproof’ comment.
It really seems like Kendrick has a lot to say about the rap game, and the quality of rappers lately. Going off on either Drake, Or Pap, K.Dot is on a path of destruction, ready to destroy any MC in his path. Whether or not he is trying to spark severe conflict, or just likes inciting rap beefs is uncertain, but nothing is wrong with a little rap feud as long as K.Dot is able to prove himself. Being one of the newest, hottest MCs in the game gives him that right. But it is only a matter of time until he bites off more than he can chew with someone better than him. I will certainly be waiting for that rap battle.
