Waka Flocka and Steve Aoki Join Forces on US Winter Tour

 

Ladies and gentlemen, we are so very pleased and excited to report on what could be the musical event of our generation… Yes you heard right, this winter season, Waka Flocka Flame will join forces with Dim Mak Records commander-in-chief Steve Aoki to bring their talents across the country on tour, an experience that promises to be absolutely bonkers. The self-dubbed, “Rap King of EDM”, Waka Flocka has not been shy about his love for the dance music movement and his interest in being a part of its explosion into the mainstream. Thus, he has teamed up with EDM’s very own Steve Aoki madman to bring a show that is sure to be packed with rampant cake throwing and crowd surfing.

Steve Aoki, and Waka Flocka alike have both been crucial players in the crossing of their respective genres as Steve Aoki has collaborated with hip hop artists such as Kid Cudi, Lil Jon, Snoop Dogg, and many others. Similarly, Waka Flocka has already announced his EDM based forthcoming studio album in which collaborators include the likes of Skrillex, Flosstradamus, Diplo and others.

Both known for bringing the party to their shows with them, Steve Aoki and Waka Flocka, despite the oddity of this pairing, are sure to deliver one helluva time in each city their tour carries them to. No tour dates have been announced yet, merely the news of this epic partnership alone is enough to get the masses riled up. As soon as tour dates drop, we will be sure to update you, because if this party touches down in your city, we wouldn’t want you to miss a second of the genre-bending, fist pumping action.
