Let us introduce you to Muzzy, detroit based producer/DJ as well as the touring guitarist for another Michigan native and sick musician GRiZ. When he’s not on the road shredding it with GRiZ, he’s in the lab making Trapped the Funk out beats (see what I did there?). But really, this dude is coming through with a truly unique sound, taking a new approach melding trap/soul/funk all into one final concoction. Due to all the shit we get sent that sounds the same, it’s always refreshing to hear something that sounds fresh and new, and Muzzy is doing just that.

We’ve got a couple really dope tracks from Muzzy to quench your thirst, first one on the list is Muzzy – Siamese Ratchet Funk & Muzzy – Italian Ratchet Funk, two tracks that the title basically describes perfectly.. Followed up by pretty much the rest of his spotlight section on his soundcloud, because I like them all.. I’m just loving the flavor he’s bringing to the table.
