“Under a Lampshade started off as a track I created in a live stream around January 2017. At the time there wasn’t any particular emotion I was feeling in order to create the track, I only intended to showcase my production skills in the stream. Because of this, I put off finishing it for a whole year until now. After receiving not one but two solid top lines from Ezra and Emawk, I can safely say this track sounds beautiful. I would also love to extend a thank you to my manager, Adrian for encouraging me to help Under a Lampshade see the light of day (no pun intended haha). I believe the track talks about one of the many fears that someone in a relationship might experience where only one side shows love yet the other side pretends. I think it is a nice point in my album to add some dilemma, I hope you guys enjoy it!” – Laxcity
