PREMIERE: Delusion Puts His Own Spin On Ben Esser’s “Promises”

Berlin-based Ben Esser has seen enormous success in his musical career, with his most recent single “Promises,” featuring Noah Slee, being released last year. Now, a brand new remix EP based around “Promises” is dropping through Crispy Crust Records. The “Promises” Remix EP features edits by Delusion, Paul Mond, and Sugaboy, along with Ben’s original version of the song.

Delusion’s remix of “Promises” is a fresh take of an already amazing track. The superb edit is filled with disjointed fractures of melody and an off-kilter, richly melodic drops. A new bubbling bassline adds a refreshing punch to the song and elevates it to a new level. Delusion showcases his own sound through his edit while still making sure Noah Slee’s smooth vocals shine through. It is a unique interpretation of the track, and we are excited to see what Delusion puts out next.
