In March – Getter introduced us to his new label, “Shred Collective.” He promised it to be much more than a label. It will end up being a clothing line, and an artist collective. We were also given the first song released on the label – a Getter tune by the name of “Inhalant Abuse.”
“Uppercuts” is the second release on Shred Collective. It’s a hip-hop joint produced by Getter and performed by Terror Reid. A.K.A. Getter in a mask. And it bangs. It combines crisp production, with aggressive lyrics. It feels like a Danny Brown project. We will have to wait and see what else comes our on Shred Collective – not to mention what else Getter will come up with.
