The incredibly long wait for Frank Ocean’s new album Boy’s Don’t Cry may finally be coming to an end.
Ocean, who released his debut grammy award-winning album Channel Orange in 2012, first announced the follow up album three years ago. Since, the album has experienced numerous delays, leaving fans hungrier and hungrier with each tease.
Today, The New York Times is reporting “Boy’s Don’t Cry” will arrive this Friday, August 5, living exclusively on Apple Music for the first two weeks before becoming available through other outlets. In addition to the album itself, “The release is also expected to include a major video and a printed publication called “Boys Don’t Cry” that will be distributed at Apple stores.” The info comes from an anonymous source inside Apple Music.
Now, we wait. We’ll believe it’s being released when we’re listening. Listen to Ocean’s previous album Channel Orange below.
