Skrillex and Diplo could not keep their names from EDM headlines if they tried. Their latest track with Justin Bieber aka the Beibs, is even gaining popularity with very elite news outlets. Recently Katie Couric interviewed Skrilly, and half of their conversation was circled around the unlikely pairing of EDM supergroup Jack Ü and the controversial pop sensation. All we know is that we like the track, surprisingly enough. We trust the two biggest names in EDM to produce without a hitch, and they did it again on the making of this track.
They never disappoint, and we love them for it. There are plenty of haters, but you won’t find any here. The are perfectionists in the field. Here and now is the official music video for this very viral track, so viral, it has been charged with bringing Skrill and Dip to the mainstream. Us dance music lovers know much better than that, but it doesn’t mean we stop watching these two + the Biebs. We will always be watching, because these guys put out nothing but quality.
The video starts out like something we’d expect from the boy band type soloist pop star. It accentuates the very vulnerable lyrics that attracted Jack Ü to the vocal track in the first place. The special effects are what give us the electronic edits and feel that we want from a track like this. It is so quintessential Jack Ü, as if they could even have a quintessence.
