The young Arizona-based producer Y//2//K has team teamed up with Mark Johns of the Moving Castle collective to deliver a stunning new track for us to premiere! Entitled White Wine, this track starts off with a beautiful piano ballad intro but quickly turns into a future bass adventure with rich synths, delicate organic sounds (those Timbaland snaps!) and of course, fantastic vocal work by the lovely Mark Johns who first gained our attention when she appeared on Moving Castle vol. 002.

Personally, I’m a huge fan of this more “delicate” style of future bass (it’s not terribly unlike some of the timbres coming out of AUS right now) and between this track and his remix of Lana Del Ray‘s Ultraviolence, I’m very happy with the direction Y//2//K is taking with his music. We’ve got our eye on you! #sippinonthebest
