“GRIME SEASON APPROACHING,” were the words of Henry Steinway’s (aka RL Grime‘s) tweet last week when we posted a snippet preview of “Core” the upcoming lead single off of the trap heavyweight’s highly-anticipated debut album, slated for release sometime in the near future off of WEDIDIT Records. While question marks on the LP still remain, today we’ve been graced with the full studio version of “Core” to give us a little taste of what the album could sound like. The track’s blaring air-horn style synths slapping in after a rap-sampled vocal drop are a testament to RL’s unique style and knack for producing huge trap anthems ready for the festival main stage. Stream/purchase this baby below and stay in the loop for news about RL’s forthcoming album. EDIT: Oh yeah, and there’s a music video too – peep that below as well.
