Happy Holidays! Prepare for the sexiest compilation of Love Trap/Future tunes on the blogosphere. Genre’s are irrelevant here at RTT, so to start off the Top 15 he have one of the sexiest voices in the game, BANKS. And Snakehips comes through with this glorious remix of the her track “Warm Water” with the original production by T.E.E.D. Next we got Lindsay Lowend‘s track “GT40” off of the ‘Wind Fish EP’ that dropped earlier this year. This post wouldn’t be complete without the genre killer himeself, Ta-ku. He’s got 2 tunes featured: Cosmo’s Midnight – The Dofflin (Ta-ku Remix) and L D R U – The Tropics (Ta-ku Remix).
Penthouse Penthouse, Mr. Carmack, and Djemba Djemba all had break out years in 2013. So naturally their track “When It’s Hot” was gonna make the list, also scope the Instrumental as well. Another artist getting featured twice is Cashmere Cat, but first we have his remix of Benzel’s track “Fallin Love”. Wave Racer is also featured twice with his remix of Panama’s anthem “Always” and his original track “Rock U Tonite”. King Diplo was another must on the Top 15, so clocking in at #9 is his mind blowing remix of Grizzly Bear’s track “Will Calls”. Keys N Krates are no stranger to Love Trap anthems, and this remix of Alex Metric’s track “Safe With You” is a perfect example. THE TOP 5 THOUGH…..ODESZA took the blogs by storm in 2013, and “My Friends Never Die” was just one reason why. If Flume’s remix of You & Me wasn’t featured on another writers top 10 tracks for this year, it would have been #1 here. So his edit of Rustie’s track “Slasherr” was a must. Austalian producers are pretty much taking over the world one song at a time, and “High With Me” by Yahtzel is an anthem that has been on repeat all year long. And the only track that can beat it, is fellow Aussie, L D R U’s anthem, “The Tropics”. And the number one spot goes to none other than the King of VIBES Cashmere Cat, with his remix of Miguel’s track “Do You…”. Cheers.

Solid list. Good taste. Gotta say, though, it's somewhat hypocritical/contradictory to open this post up by defining these songs as "Love Trap/Future tunes" and then follow that statement up by saying "genres are irrelevant here" …if genres are irrelevant then what, exactly, is future trap? It's obviously a genre according to this blog. Just pointing that out, it's confusing to your readers. Again, semantics aside, great list.

Glad you dig the list. The word 'genre' needs to removed from the english dictonary.

#8 Is awesome… This wasn't on the list but I figured I'd put it out there cause it's one of my absolute favorites right now! https://soundcloud.com/electricmantis/flips-and-flops-drips-and-1
