With the year that Dog Blood took over the world coming near its end, and Jack U now creeping up on the radar, Skrillex has made it clear that he is going to be keeping busy and stay at the top of the dance music scene. Today Zane Lowe premiered a track from Chase & Status’ new album which is set to drop next week. The track is known as International (Skrillex Remix), and I have to say, its good to hear from Sonny again. Skrillex has basically taken a hiatus from his solo works this whole year, and this new track has me pumped for more new material to follow.
The track incorporates plenty of heavy bass and that Jamaican patois Skrillex absolutely loves; making for a grimy, hard hitting track with a clean dance hall reggae vibe with trap music elements. The sound is saturated in Skrillex, with quick samples and hard breaks, and it is exciting to finally hear what Sonny has kept under the hood all year.
