If you haven’t heard yet, Diplo called out Flo Rida for ripping off his video on Twitter the other day. Diplo has even gone as far as to changing his Twitter handle to diplo-rida. The beef in question is about how similar Flo Rida’s new music video for “Can’t Believe It” is to Diplo’s “Butter’s Theme” music video. Here are Diplo’s tweets:

Flo Rida decided to respond today when asked about it on Sway in the Morning. He responded by saying the he hadn’t seen any of Diplo’s videos and that he thinks the beef is a joke. Here’s Flo Rida responding:

The thing is, I highly doubt Flo-Rida had much involvement in creating the video. Diplo should be targeting toward the video director.

The fact that Flo-Rida claims to have never seen a Diplo video is absurd however. You are involved in pop music and you ain't seen a video for one of the most successful producers of the decade? I think I almost died listening to a that track by my two LEAST favorite "artists" (Flo Rida, Pittbull). Diplo is right though, looks too similar to not be seen by Flo.

Neither song is all that impressive, although butter's theme is definitely better… as far as Flo Rida ripping off Diplo's video, the only real "plagiaristic" thing I could identify was the gratuitous amounts of ass all over the place hahah.
