Kanye West stirred up quite a bit of commotion (as he does so well) with a recent tweet on May 2nd that stated simply “June Eighteen” [38k retweets isn’t bad, huh?]. This will mark the release of his new album (title yet to be revealed). As the track list for Kanye’s new album is still being finalized, it has been confirmed that West has brought in a monster cast to collaborate on the album.

The new album will feature the likes of Daft Punk, Skrillex, TNGHT, Chicago native Chief Keef and Odd Future just to name a few.. More details on the release are being closely protected “You know I’m not going to tell you anything about that crazy-ass boy!” 2 Chainz recently said. “Just know that Mr. West has some dope [music] on the way.” From what we’ve read, Kanye’s new album has been described best with one word ‘dark’.
Kanye never ceases to steal the stage, and based on the confirmed collaborations listed above, there is no doubt June 18th will be a huge release. I’m especially interested to see how Kanye was able to work across genres with the artists listed above.
Here’s audio of New York City radio DJ Peter Rosenberg talking about the album after he attended the Def Jam Private listening party.
Are you excited for Kanye’s next album?

Kanye West is a hypocritical douchebag. Shame that he’s relatively talented.
