Lil Wayne Releases “The Dedication 5” Mixtape

After a years wait or so, Lil Wayne finally gives us the fifth installment in his “Dedication” series, featuring host DJ Drama. He stays true to a real mix tape vibe by hopping on some of the hottest beats like Kanye Wests “New Slaves“ and the new track from 2Chainz “Feds Watchin” Wayne delivers punch line after punchline on the 29 track mix tape featuring the likes of The Weeknd, Chance The Rapper and almost all of YMCMB’s artists.

Some may say most of the songs might lack lyrical substance, but its his consistently aggressive delivery that solidifies that Tunechi is still on top of his game. Although in my professional opinion ‘Mixtape Wayne’ was at his peak during Da Drought series and Dedication 3, Weezy still made sure to bring some quality with The Dedication 5.
