WEDIDIT, the Los Angeles based music collective encompassing artists like Shlomo, Groundislava and RL Grime, has just made available the all new Split EP by artists Arnold and C.Z.. Just as the title suggests, this 4 track EP is 2 parts Arnold, 2 parts C.Z. cleverly arranged so that each artist gets a track on each side (and no artist is relinquished to Side B/Side 2, depending on how well you can spell/count). Arnold’s musical style as displayed by the  first track, Plus or Minus is a more relaxed style of trap music with analog synths and re-tuned, chopped vocals that have become prominent within the LA underground beat-scene over the last few years. C.Z. balances this out with a more ‘crunky’ approach, focusing on harder-hitting sub bass and more traditional trap sampling style, using the sample less melodically and more as a percussive element.

To top it all off, fellow WEDIDIT member SUS went and created a trippy old-school video for Plus or Minus / Das Why.
