Here it is, the first edition of our Lovetrap Series. Chilltrap, Lovetrap, call it whatever you want but this is what the genre was first introduced to me as. I’d like to start off with a little bit of a background on some great Lovetrap producers and the amazing tracks they have put out. The most iconic Lovetrap song I can think of has to be Lana’s Theme by none other than Flosstradamus. Next to Floss, I wanna highlight RL Grime (A.K.A. Clockwork), as another previously established dj and producer who has stormed onto the trap scene with some hard hitting beats as well as a few really sick chill tracks as well. If you havn’t heard of Star Slinger, you have to check this guys soundcloud out. I have just recently had the opportunity to see him live and his mixing / production are absolutely amazing. Next up I got the one, the only, Baauer. This guy is an absolute monster in the production game and his newest No doubt remix is definitely a late summer anthem. Chrome wolves out of Portland has dropped some amazing tunes on his soundcloud that really haven’t gotten the recognition they deserve. I am looking to help change that by posting two amazing bootlegs that are chilled and trilled. Next up I got Weshokids from France. Two of the tunes he’s dropped on his soundcloud have been genre labeled “Chilly Trap Burger”. I’ll just leave it at that. I also got a couple sick ass singles and make sure you peep Mister Tweeks – Addiction which was dropped on Pelican Fly. I would call that nothing other than bubble trap and it’s got to be my favorite of the bunch. Enjoy!!
