The Glitch Mob Release Remix Compilation

It was about this time last year that The Glitch Mob finally broke the very long silence by dropping their new album, “Love, Death, Immortality.” The album was a chaotic, yet organized slew of sounds that quenched the palettes of Glitch Mob fans everywhere. After a very tour-extensive year they have teamed up with some of their best music making friends to release a remix compilation album of their latest album.

The thing that sticks out the most about all these remixes is that they all alter the song enough to make it their own, without completely ignoring the original track. Many a times I notice someone using a vocal from a track, slapping a different drop on it and calling it a remix. From Bassnectar’s ethereal take on “Beauty Of The Unhidden Heart” to Eprom‘s take on “Skullclub” filled with sub-bass and breakbeats, each song will have a tinge of familiarity before taking a mind of its own.
