Martin Folb and Paul Gorman are the two names behind the new supergroup ‘Primal Intent’. Folb may be familiar, he has released a lot of music before as part of the duo ‘PANTyRAiD‘ and under the solo moniker of ‘MartyParty‘. When asked to describe his art, Folb says “All the music I make is based around the psychedelic dance floor – a lose your mind spontaneous and unpredictable rollercoaster of sound – always sexy and always raw.”
Primal Intent steps away from the boundaries of ‘genre’ and delivers a diverse medley of sound in their music. Drawing a lot of inspiration from the European techno scene, they dropped their introductory track ‘Bar In Every Room‘ last week. We’re premiering the second tune off their debut self titled LP. An interesting contrast to it’s predecessor, ‘Ozone’ is a mix up of various elements of trap and future bass peppered with some airy arps and vocal samples. The result is almost haunting, but in the best of ways. Check it out here:
