PREMIERE: Drake - Find Your Love (Tim Gunter Remix)

2013 Red Bull Thre3style U Champion Tim Gunter has been making waves in the dance music scene with a series of high quality originals and remixes, hitting the #1 spot on Hypem with his most recent Snoop Dogg – “Drop It Like It’s Hot” (Tim Gunter Remix) and dropping a stellar remix of Banks – Waiting Game to name a few. This time around he’s reworked the Drake classic “Find Your Love” into a fresh new “tropical hop” heater that’s unique to almost anything you’ll hear out there right now.

Tim has fused trap and hip hop style elements with tropical sounds for an uplifting new take on the track that does justice to the original Drake classic. This track was a remix for Casablanca/Republic records and you might have heard it first on Imannos’ Casablanca/Republic mixtape.

When talking to Tim about the remix there were some cool aspects of the production process he worked into the remix:

I really like the tropical house vibe making waves right now, so I went with a unique style here, fusing hip-hop with tropical house. I played the xylophone live and sampled it to create the tropical melody in the drop. I believe every remix should contain at least a part of the original, so I decided to keep Kanye’s drums but replayed them in a different pattern.
