In June, the producer caught major heat for live streaming Joe Jonas’ wedding, but apparently the incident spawned one of Diplo’s best singles of the year. Today, Diplo has released the third single off his Thomas Wesley country project featuring the newly reunited Jonas Brothers. Tinged with sultry guitar melodies and shiny heart-warming pop lyrics, “Lonely” is a sparkling ballad that merges country and electronic music. “Lonely” comes tied with a hilarious video that capitalizes on the Jonas Brothers’ beef with Diplo as it follows Diplo’s unreturned calls and texts to the teen-heartthrob trio.
