Things might be cooling down as we are racing towards winter here in the U.S. but they’re certainly heating up in Australia. One of the main contributors to this temperature rise is Close Counters‘ new REFRACTIONS EP. The Tasmanian duo shine throughout the four-track EP blending jazz, future bass, and indie elements. This was my first introduction to the duo, but they’ve earned a fan in me. My personal favorite song is “TIP OF MY TONGUE” but give the entire EP a listen and comment below what your favorite track is.
